This tour from Rome to Milan offers the opportunity to visit Italy’s Capital of Fashion in one day! Your driver will pick you up from your hotel in Rome and take you to the Rome rail station. On your arrival in Milan, our local driver will pick you up at the rail station and take you to the meeting with your private guide for the Milan tour. Today’s Italian financial center, Milan, was an important center of the Roman Empire and then the Capital of Napoleon’s Kingdom in Italy. This modern city is famous for being the Italian headquarters of Fashion stylists and shoppers’ paradise. You will see the fantastic Gothic Cathedral, the elegant Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, the famous Scala Opera House, and the impressive Sforza Castel with your private guide.

Train Trip and Milan's Cathedral. A private driver will pick you up at your hotel, B&B, and apartment in Rome to take you to the rail station and get the train to Milano Centrale station, where an assistant will meet you. At your arrival in Milan, a guide will be waiting, holding a sign with your name, and bring you to the city center. Milan Cathedral is Italy's most original Gothic building, adorned with thousands of sculptures. The most famous Milan attraction is dedicated to St Mary of the Nativity. High-colored Windows illuminate the interior, where 52 columns support the roof. Here, you can admire pinnacles and statues. Visit is from the outside.

La Scala theater. Your Milan visit continues to the Scala Opera House Square. The Scala Opera House has been the setting for the premières of Verdi, Donizetti, Puccini, and many others. It holds shows featuring some of Italy’s greatest operatic artists and singers from around the world and is renowned as one of the leading opera and ballet theatres in the world (visit from the outside).

Victor Emanuel Gallery. During this day trip from Milan to Rome, you will explore the sites where locals spend their everyday lives. Galleria Vittorio Emanuele, named after the first King of Italy, is Italy’s oldest shopping mall. It is a charming and elegant gallery with refined shops, restaurants, and cafes today. The structure of the building consists of two glass-vaulted arcades intersecting in an octagon and covers the street connecting Piazza del Duomo to Piazza Della Scala. Instead of going to the Sforza Castle Museum, you can shop in Via Monte Napoleone, renowned for its design shops.

Sforza Castle. Your tour escort will bring you to the impressive Sforza Castle, where admission to the courtyard is free. The place and the surrounding gardens are a gathering place for locals and tourists. The Sforza Castle is also a museum housing important sculptures and paintings (visit not included).

Your guide will organize your transfer back to the rail station to get your train back to Rome, where a private driver will wait to drop you off in the morning.

On your arrival in Milan, your private guide will wait at the end of the platform, holding a sign with your name. The guide will then assist you till your return back to the rail station and help you getting the train. At your arrival in Rome a private driver will lead you back to your location. Bring your IDs.
