Beinn Alligin means the Mountain of Beauty in Gaelic - and is well named. This is the easiest of the three famous Torridon ridge traverses, but if the Horns are included it still gives some airy scrambling.


Walk details: 6.25 miles, 10 km - Ascent 300 m, Descent 250 m - Walking time 7 - 7.5 h

The meeting point for transport from Ullapool is the Royal Hotel Ullapool Car Park at 7.30 am. For all who make their own way to the Start of the walk, the meeting time is 9.00 am. Good pair of walking boots/shoes Warm layers for when the weather is not ideal Waterproof trousers and jacket Snacks & Lunch for a break outside while on the walk Rucksack to carry all above
