Wander through the narrow streets of the Oltrarno district, the beating heart of textile craftsmanship, whose roots date back to the Middle Ages, when wool, silk, and leather made Florence wealthy and influential worldwide.

The first part of the tour unfolds in the Oltrarno area, where the city reveals its most authentic and passionate side. The cradle of ancient trades, the small streets and squares between San Frediano and Santo Spirito become key places to explore the traditions of leatherworking, ceramics, and wood carving. Here, moving from workshop to workshop, you can still smell the varnish in the air. This is the Florence where you can truly get lost and discover the most authentic craftsmanship.

The second part of the tour takes place at the Piero Tucci Boutique, located inside Palazzo Gondi, one of the city’s oldest historic palaces. Here you will immerse yourself in the world of artisans and discover leatherworking techniques, transforming raw scraps into unique bags and accessories. After a welcome drink, the creative workshop will begin, focusing on sustainability and creativity. You will choose the materials, assemble your bag, personalize it, and experience the magic of watching your creation take shape. At the end of the experience, you will have the opportunity to purchase the product you created.
