Please note: All trips are weather and tide dependent, and launch times may vary accordingly from those stated. Your launch time will be confirmed the day before. Please allow enough time for transport from Cape Town (3 hours) when travelling to Gansbaai. What to wear: bathing costume, warm clothing (it is cold on the water when the wind blows), sneakers, windbreaker. Things to bring: camera, sunblock, sunglasses, bathing costume, anti nausea medication (should seasickness be a concern - recommend that it is taken the night before and two hours prior to the trip).

Going Shark Diving in South Africa and more specifically a trip on the "Slashfin", is a combination of goose bump thrills, education and relaxation on a luxury boat in the company of experienced experts and researchers! They will show you how to distinguish between a male and female shark, and how to identify a specific shark by its unique dorsal fin and scars. The 25-minute boat trip to where the activity is to take place, is by itself an exhilarating adventure.
