Experience the magic of the Arctic night on a unique 2-hour Northern Lights Sleigh Ride in the surroundings of Rovaniemi. Relax and enjoy the peaceful winter landscape while seated comfortably in a traditional sleigh pulled by a snowmobile driven by your guide.

As you travel through snowy forests and open areas away from city lights, you will have the opportunity to admire the beauty of Lapland and, weather permitting, search for the enchanting Aurora Borealis. Along the way, your guide will share stories about local culture, Arctic nature, and the Northern Lights.

Weather Policy. The tour operates in all weather conditions. Northern Lights sightings cannot be guaranteed, as they are a natural phenomenon dependent on weather and solar activity. The excursion will take place regardless of weather conditions.

Additional information Total duration of the program is about 3 hours, including the time to dress up and transportation. Northern lights are related to weather conditions, so they are not guaranteed. Tour operator won't cancel the activity according to the weather conditions. Please check the weather forecast couple of days before the activity start. Cancellation and re-scheduling the activity is possible, if the changes are made more than 24-hours before the activity start, depending of the availability for the requested day. Children will not be able to join this tour if outside temperature is colder than -20°c. One sledge can fit up to 8 participants. Transfers and Meeting point Pick-up point: Snowmobile Park City Office (Koskikatu 8). Meeting time at 20:00. Meeting point: Snowmobile Park Safari House (Joulumaantie 5). Meeting time at 20:00. Please note, the meeting times are indicative. We will inform you of the exact meeting time by email the day before. If you do not receive this email, please contact the service provider. Good to know Missed meeting time and point will result on missed safari which will not be refunded. Free cancellation up to 24 hours in advance. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
