Enjoy an incredible ice fishing experience in Rovaniemi!

Your experience begins with a meeting at the meeting, where you’ll be greeted by your guide. You’ll then gear up in warm winter overalls to ensure you’re comfortable and protected during the whole activity.

Explore the picturesque frozen lakes of Lapland with your family and friends and have a possibility to catch various species of fish such as trout, rainbow trout, perch, and whitefish at the best fishing spots in the region, guided by our experienced guide. Discover the age-old secrets of ice fishing and get started with the guidance of your experienced guide, as you experience the traditional Finnish way of fishing on frozen lakes.

During the program we enjoy some hot juice and sausages by the campfire.

Additional information Duration of the program about 4 hours, including the time to dress up and for transportation. It is suited for adults and children. Ice fishing takes place on natural ice, and moving around is at your own risk. Transfers Pick-up point: Snowmobile Park City Office (Koskikatu 8). Meeting time at 9:00. Meeting point: Snowmobile Park Safari House (Joulumaantie 5). Meeting time at 9:00. Please note, the meeting times are indicative. We will inform you of the exact meeting time by email the day before. If you do not receive this email, please contact the service provider. Missed meeting time and point will result on missed safari which will not be refunded. 09:05 – Transfer from the City Office departs. 09:15 – Arriving to the Safari Office in Santa Claus Village for the equipment 10:00 – Activity starts 13:00 – Activity ends 13:30 – Drop-off The itinerary serves as an approximation and should only be regarded as a general estimate of the timings.
