Kayak across the lagoon. Welcome to Pacchen, an authentic Maya community nestled deep within the jungle, where adventure and tradition live side by side. After a short briefing and a few minutes to store your belongings in the lockers, guided by local Maya experts, you paddle across a peaceful lagoon surrounded by jungle, enjoying the silence and the sounds of nature. From the shore, a walk along jungle trails leads you to the start of the adventure circuit, while your guide shares stories about the plants and life of the forest.

Two ziplines and a suspended bridge. Get ready to fly. Your first zipline takes you soaring above the lagoon, with the jungle stretching out beneath you. A short walk later, you cross a suspended wooden bridge over an open cenote, before your second zipline sends you gliding right across it. All safety equipment is provided, and our team guides you step by step, so even first-timers can enjoy every moment with confidence.

The Mayan elevator into a hidden cave cenote. The highlight of the day: a short walk through the jungle brings you to the Mayan elevator, a fun and safe system where you are secured with ropes and gently lowered into a hidden cave cenote. Below, crystal-clear waters await, surrounded by impressive limestone formations. Enjoy a refreshing swim in this unforgettable underground setting before being raised back to the surface the same way. A walk back through the jungle returns you to the entrance, where you can collect your belongings from the lockers and change into dry clothes before lunch.

Mayan traditions & homemade flavors. Continue to the peaceful Maya community of Tres Reyes, where daily life remains closely connected to nature and to traditions passed down through generations. As you walk through the village, your guide introduces local customs and explains how Maya families continue to preserve their culture and way of life. You are then welcomed into the family's traditional kitchen, where your hosts share one of the region's oldest culinary traditions. Learn how handmade corn tortillas are prepared from scratch and enjoy them fresh with homemade salsas. Next, witness the unveiling of the community's famous cochinita pibil, slowly cooked underground using a traditional Maya technique that gives it its distinctive tenderness and rich flavor.
