Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou Group Tour

Pick‑Up. Your day begins with a hotel pickup in Marrakech at 7:00 am. Travel in comfort across the chain of the High Atlas Mountains.

Tizi N’Tichka Pass. Drive along winding roads and cross the famous Tizi N’Tichka Pass at 2,260 meters, the highest in Africa. Along the way, admire Berber villages perched on the mountainsides, blending seamlessly into the rocky landscape.

Scenic Valleys & Kasbah Architecture. As you descend to the far side of the mountains, the scenery changes dramatically to semi‑arid desert landscapes. Discover traditional kasbah architecture with peach‑colored adobe walls, turrets, and grilled windows, perfectly adapted to the southern climate.

Ait Benhaddou Kasbah. Arrive at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou, an ancient fortified village. Explore its narrow alleys and admire the kasbah where famous films such as Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, The Mummy, and Kingdom of Heaven were shot.

Ouarzazate. Continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco.” Visit the Taourirt Kasbah, also classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site, and optionally stop at a cinema studio to learn about Morocco’s film industry.

Return. In the late afternoon, begin the drive back to Marrakech, arriving around 6:00 pm after a full day of discovery in the High Atlas and southern Morocco.
