After being picked up from your accommodation in the city of Praia, drive inland to Santa Cruz. Upon arrival at the largest banana and coconut plantation in the country, take a walk inside the agricultural fields while your local tour guide explains the varieties of fruits and plants that are on the plantation. If available, at your own expense, refresh yourself with fresh coconut water and sample the local fruits.

Afterwards, move on to the nearby city of Orgãos, and experience the local cuisine with a local family. Experience the incomparable hospitality of the people of the islands and, be welcomed by a friendly family, who will share the secrets of Cape Verdean gastronomy and La Morabeza creola. Learn how to cook the local Cuscuz, a traditional cake made from cornmeal and Fidjós whose ingredients are based on banana mixed with wheat.

After the workshop, drive back among rocks and valleys, learn about local history from your guide, and capture beautiful scenery before returning to your accommodation.

Praia: Hotel Pick-up. Start with pickup at your hotel in Praia and drive inland to Santa Cruz.

Pedra Badejo: Walk in Banana and Coconut Plantation.
