Nicosia, Asinou Church, Troodos and Limassol. We will start our day from visit Nicosia Old Town Center. Our next stop will be at Virgin Mary of Asinou Church. Located on the east bank of a stream, 3 km from the mountainous village of Nikitari, Panagia Asinou Church is a small church dedicated to the Virgin of ‘Phorbia’. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and contains some of the finest Byzantine wall paintings on the island, dating from the 12th to the 17th century. Then we will head to heart of Cyprus - Troodos Mountains Square where you will be given free time for lunch. Next stop will be at the traditional wine making mountain village of Lania village. Our last stop will be at most dynamic city of the island. Limassol is a city on the southern coast of Cyprus. It’s known for the centuries - old Limassol Castle, home to the Cyprus Medieval Museum and its collection of pottery and tombstones. On the seafront is the Prokymea (Molos) Sculpture Park with sculptures by Cypriot, Greek and international artists. To the northeast is the Limassol Archaeological Museum, exhibiting artifacts from the Neolithic to the Roman periods. You will be given free time in Limassol Old Town Center for sightseeing and shopping.
