Phi Phi is an archipelago of six islands off the Krabi coast, and all of its nature reads from the water. The classic run is a longtail to Maya Bay and Pileh Lagoon: a five-hour version at 39 dollars and a nine-hour one at 45, which adds Loh Samah bay, Monkey Beach and snorkelling stops over the coral gardens. A longtail is slower than a speedboat but slips closer to the cliffs and the small bays.
Here the hour of day changes everything. The sunrise speedboat leaves at seven in the morning, when Maya is still empty; the sunset one goes out in the afternoon — both 68 dollars, both seven hours. Private boats set their own pace: a four-hour sunset longtail at 80 dollars and a six-hour circuit of the island at 133, with the skipper adjusting the route to weather and tides.
GetExperience lists 6 outdoor programmes around Phi Phi, from 39 to 133 dollars. Pages state the boat type, the duration — four to nine hours — the stops and the inclusions: snorkelling gear, lunch, water, national park fee. Pick a date and party size in the calendar, pay online and the voucher lands in your inbox. The Maya national park fee is charged separately on some departures.
