You may know something about the feats of ancient gods, heroes and mythical beasts, but behind these tales of epic proportions lies a whole menagerie of jealousy, passions and vengeful pride. As you walk the ancient paths of Athens, you will enjoy a stroll around the city and can admire some of the most important landmarks of the city. Learn interesting stories about how satyrs, nymphs and gods chased one another, loved and fought.

Find out about Zeus and the rest of the Greek gods. Stroll around the most beautiful neighbourhood of Athens as you learn interesting facts about the city and its legends. During your walk in Athens, you will have the chance to see some of the fascinating monuments on your way to Syntagma Square. Learn interesting facts about the interaction between humans and gods in Ancient Greece as you stroll around the picturesque streets of Plaka.

Program

Meeting point. We meet at Korai 4 street, Athina 105 64 right in front of the Starbucks (next to Panepistimiou street and the Panepistimio metro station).

Akadimia (Academy). One of the most beautiful buildings in Athens where you will see and learn about the Greek gods.

Numismatic Museum of Athens. This architectural gem of Athens will reveal its myths, legends and secrets. This is where you will get to know stories about the mythical Amazons and their fighting skills.

Syntagma District. While you visit the main square of the city, you will explore and find statues of Gods and listen to their stories.

Mitropoleos Street. Explore some of the main streets of Athens where the present meets the past and see ancient ruins, churches and hidden temples.

Plaka. Explore one of the most picturesque and oldest neighborhoods of Athens, known as the neighborhood of the Gods.

Monastiraki. This is the ending point of the tour.
