Trade crowded tour buses for fresh air on a active, two-wheeled adventure through the UNESCO-listed Angkor Archaeological Park. Cycle along shaded forest paths and ancient trails with your private expert guide to discover the magnificent highlights of the Khmer Empire. Capture early morning views of majestic Angkor Wat, ride into the walled city of Angkor Thom to marvel at the stone faces of Bayon, and pedal all the way to nature-reclaimed Ta Prohm—the iconic "Tomb Raider" temple wrapped in giant tree roots.
• Highlights: Eco-friendly cycling adventure, sunrise/morning light at Angkor Wat, giant stone faces at Bayon, and the root-strangled ruins of Ta Prohm.
• Inclusions: Private professional guide, hotel pickup, and drop-off. (Bicycles and temple entrance pass available separately).

Program

Angkor Wat Temple. We start cycling from hotel through village and jungle. You will arrive to appreciate the largest religious monument ever built. Astonishing in the morning light you will be able to photograph the temple from across the lotus pond and then continue to explore the many levels and intricately carved galleries. Your dedicated and knowledgeable guide will provide all the necessary information to bring Angkor times back to life.

Angkor Thom City. You will cycle to the centre of the ancient walled city of Angkor Thom and the splendid temple of Bayon with many enigmatic faces.

Taprohm Temple-Tomb Raider. We will continue cycling to ancient manmade structures and golden Spung tree (Tetrameles Nudiflora) roots wrap themselves around mossy stones in a tight embrace.
