Cusco – Sacred Valley – Expedition Train – Machu Picchu Pueblo. We’ll pick you up from your Cusco hotel at around 7:00 a.m. and begin your journey through the Sacred Valley. Start with a visit to an alpaca center, where you can meet llamas, alpacas, vicuñas, and guanacos. Then enjoy amazing valley views from the Taray viewpoint. Continue to the impressive Pisac ruins and explore the colorful Pisac Market, filled with local crafts and souvenirs. After a delicious buffet lunch in Urubamba, visit the unique circular terraces of Moray and the beautiful Maras Salt Mines, where local families still harvest salt using traditional methods. Your final stop is Ollantaytambo, one of the best-preserved Inca towns in Peru. After exploring the archaeological site, enjoy dinner before boarding the Expedition train to Aguas Calientes. Machu Picchu – Cusco. After breakfast, take an early bus to Machu Picchu, the highlight of your trip. Your expert guide will lead you through ancient temples, terraces, plazas, and viewpoints while sharing the fascinating story of this famous Inca city. The guided tour lasts around 2 to 3 hours. We request Circuit 2 whenever available. If it is sold out, we will book the best available official circuit. You may also add Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain if tickets are available. After your visit, return to Aguas Calientes for free time and lunch before taking the Expedition train to Ollantaytambo.
