Úplný popis

Discover two of the most important archaeological sites in the world on a full-day guided tour of Pompeii and Herculaneum, perfect for history and archaeology lovers.
Meet your expert local guide and travel by comfortable coach along the scenic Amalfi Coast road, passing picturesque towns on the way to Pompeii. Enjoy a 2-hour skip-the-line guided tour of this ancient Roman commercial city, exploring its streets, shops, houses, and public buildings. Learn how daily life came to a sudden halt during the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD, when ash and lapilli buried the city.

After free time for lunch, continue to Herculaneum, a smaller and well-preserved coastal town that was mainly residential. During a 2-hour guided visit, discover remarkably intact buildings and the area where the victims’ remains were found, offering a powerful insight into the final moments of the eruption.

On the return journey, stop at a traditional cameo workshop to learn about this local craft.

Program

Together with your guide, you'll visit in 2-hours many of the most important sites, public baths with their well-preserved frescoes and mosaics, shop and the gymnasium. Not to be missed the skeletons of ancient romans are still preserved by ash.
