Úplný popis

Get an interesting lesson about the history of Nowa Huta and see typical examples of Socialist Realist architecture aboard a Communist-era car. Learn where the large statue of Lenin stood on Aleja Róż (Avenue of Roses), and marvel at the grandeur of Plac Centralny (Central Square). Get familiar with the history of Polish communism by taking a ride in a classic Polish car of that era and visiting bomb shelters that were built around a city in the case of World War III.

Take a stroll through the Central Square and Roses Avenue, where Poland's biggest statue of Lenin once stood. See the remains of Socialist Realism architecture and learn more about the urban layout of the city. Discover the city’s huge steelworks initiative, which was the reason for its foundation. Travel through time in either a Polish Fiat 126 model “Maluch,” Lada 2101, classic Nysa, Żuk, or even a soviet army van model UAZ 452.

Program

To this day, it is the main and the most recognized point of Nowa Huta. Every tourist route that we mark out in this district leads through it. The square and the surrounding buildings form a single whole. Total tour travel time is 1 hour

The beginnings of the Stylowa Restaurant in Nowa Huta date back to 1956, when it began to operate in a restaurant on the estate Center C3 in Aleja Róż. The "Stylowa" cafe was opened on the 12th anniversary of the publication of the PKWN manifesto - on July 22, 1956. The buildings of the estate were built in the years 1953-1955 according to the design of Adam Fołtyn. The interior of the café was characterized by ornate walls, furniture, chandeliers and columns appropriately designed for the premises...

The steelworks was one of the largest steel producers in Poland.

He came to a well-deserved retirement in Nowa Huta over 40 years ago. Her turn is pretty good with his military green. Children love him, tourists want a compulsory photo with him, and only one thing sometimes brings some reluctant glances.
