Begin your journey in Delhi, exploring the capital’s historic monuments and cultural highlights. Continue to Agra, home of the magnificent Taj Mahal, where you will also discover important Mughal-era landmarks including Agra Fort.

Travel onward to Jaipur, Rajasthan’s celebrated Pink City. Explore highlights such as Amber Fort, City Palace, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal, accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide.

Throughout the journey, travel comfortably in a private air-conditioned vehicle, with sightseeing and transfers arranged according to the itinerary. The itinerary can be customized according to your travel dates, preferred hotel category, sightseeing interests and pace. The Golden Triangle can also be combined with destinations such as Ranthambore, Varanasi or Rajasthan for a longer private India journey.

Program

Day 1: Delhi Arrival & Private Delhi Sightseeing. Upon arrival at New Delhi Airport, you will be met and greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After check-in and some time to relax, begin your private Delhi sightseeing tour, depending on your arrival time. Explore some of Delhi’s prominent attractions such as India Gate, Parliament House, President’s House and Qutub Minar, accompanied by a professional local guide and travelling in your private air-conditioned vehicle. The sightseeing program can be adjusted according to your arrival time. After the tour, return to your hotel for a comfortable overnight stay in Delhi. Overnight: Delhi. The addition of “depending on arrival time” and “can be adjusted” is important because we shouldn't promise four attractions when a guest arrives late.

Day 2: Delhi to Agra – Taj Mahal & Agra Fort Sightseeing. After breakfast, depart Delhi for Agra in your private air-conditioned vehicle. Upon arrival, meet your professional local guide and visit the magnificent Taj Mahal, one of India’s most iconic UNESCO World Heritage Sites and a masterpiece of Mughal architecture. Continue to Agra Fort, the impressive Mughal fortress overlooking the Yamuna River and another UNESCO World Heritage Site. Learn about Agra’s fascinating Mughal history while exploring its palaces, courtyards and historic structures. After completing your Agra sightseeing, transfer to your hotel for check-in and relaxation. Overnight: Agra

Day 3: Agra to Jaipur via Fatehpur Sikri & Abhaneri Stepwell. After breakfast, depart Agra for Jaipur in your private air-conditioned vehicle. En route, visit Fatehpur Sikri, the magnificent former Mughal capital built by Emperor Akbar and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue to Abhaneri to visit Chand Baori, one of India’s largest and most remarkable ancient stepwells, known for its striking geometric architecture and centuries-old history. Afterwards, continue your journey to Jaipur, Rajasthan’s famous Pink City. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and relax after the journey. Overnight: Jaipur

Day 4: Jaipur Sightseeing & Drive to Delhi. After breakfast, begin your full-day Jaipur sightseeing tour with a professional local guide. Visit the magnificent Amber Fort, one of Jaipur’s most impressive historic landmarks, followed by the City Palace, Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) and Jantar Mantar, the UNESCO-listed astronomical observatory. Discover the rich royal heritage, impressive architecture and colourful culture of Jaipur, famously known as Rajasthan’s Pink City. After completing your sightseeing, depart Jaipur for Delhi in your private air-conditioned vehicle. Upon arrival in Delhi, check in at your hotel and relax. Overnight: Delhi

Day 5: Old & New Delhi Sightseeing – Airport Departure. After breakfast, begin your private sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi with a professional local guide. Start in Old Delhi with visits to Raj Ghat, the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, Jama Masjid, one of India’s largest mosques, and the historic Red Fort area. Continue to New Delhi to visit Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar, followed by a drive past India Gate and the ceremonial avenues of New Delhi. Depending on opening hours and your flight departure time, you may also visit the Lotus Temple and Birla Mandir. After completing your Delhi sightseeing, transfer to Delhi Airport for your onward journey, marking the end of your 5-Day Luxury Private Golden Triangle Tour with Holiday Tours And Travels.

Transportation Private air-conditioned transportation is provided throughout the tour according to group size: 1–3 travellers: Sedan (Toyota Etios, Dzire or similar). 4–6 travellers: Toyota Innova or similar, subject to passenger and luggage capacity. 7 or more travellers: Tempo Traveller or similar. All transportation includes a professional driver. Local English-speaking guides join guests for scheduled sightseeing in Delhi, Agra and Jaipur but do not accompany guests during intercity transfers. Accommodation Four nights' hotel accommodation is included on a double/twin-sharing basis, according to the selected hotel category. 2 travellers: One double/twin room. 3 travellers: One triple-sharing room, which may include an extra bed. 4 travellers: Two double/twin rooms. 5 travellers: One double/twin room and one triple-sharing room, which may include an extra bed. Room configurations are subject to hotel availability and the selected booking option. Important Information International travellers must carry a valid passport and obtain an appropriate Indian visa where required. Monument entrance fees are excluded unless specifically mentioned in the selected booking option. The Taj Mahal remains closed to general visitors every Friday. Sightseeing arrangements may be adjusted according to monument opening hours, local traffic, weather conditions and flight schedules. Please share your arrival and departure flight details after booking. Guests should confirm their preferred hotel room configuration when booking. Comfortable walking shoes and suitable clothing are recommended for sightseeing. The itinerary involves walking at historical monuments, forts and other attractions, some of which have stairs or uneven surfaces. Airport transfers and sightseeing on arrival and departure days depend on flight timings. Important Note – Taj Mahal Friday Closure The Taj Mahal is closed to visitors every Friday. If your scheduled itinerary places the Taj Mahal visit on a Friday, Holiday Tours And Travels will adjust the route to Delhi → Jaipur → Agra → Delhi, allowing you to visit the Taj Mahal on an alternative day. The revised sightseeing sequence will be coordinated in advance while retaining the main attractions included in your tour. Valid passport or government-issued photo identification.
