Zipline Adventure

A Zipline ride is a great adventure for all those who love the thrill of doing something challenging but at the same time very safe. The tour includes a hike through breathtaking river canyon and four zipline rides; 120, 240, 30 and 140 meters long. The scenery below you is breathtaking, and you will have the birds-eye view of it as you whiz down the zip-line.
Our Zipline is situated right next to the village of Vík in South Iceland, surrounded by beautiful hills and valleys. It is not directly accessible by vehicle, so after we meet at our base at Víkurbraut 5, we drive for 5 minutes, then hike for another 5 minutes at a moderate pace to reach the take-off platform for the first zip, named Little Rush. We will give you detailed safety instructions and make sure you are comfortable with what to do during the Zipline, so you will enjoy the ride to the fullest and stay safe.Once you’re ready then you wait your turn and next thing you know, you are zipping above the canyon, heart pumping with excitement and having the best birds-eye view of the area that you can’t imagine beforehand.
Our second Zipline, The Gentle Giant, is just around the corner from the first one, this is our longest ride, 240 meters and often named the prettiest one. When everyone has safely finished the two first Ziplines it’s time for a short hike (about 10 minutes) through the amazing rock formation of Grafargil (Grave Canyon) to the next activity, named Leap of Faith. This is our shortest line, and we do things here a little differently, we won’t tell you more for now because we don’t want to spoil your surprise.
Lastly follows the fourth zip-line that we call Big Rush, it will take you over a stunning waterfall, named Hundafoss (Dog’s waterfall). To finish off the experience, we might offer a short hike back to our base if the weather permits.

Includes: equipment, ride to the starting point from the meeting point, certified guided hike and two Ziplines. Minimum 1 person.
Please note: sometimes departure time changing is necessary because of weather conditions. What to wear: hiking shoes and windproof clothes, if you have long hair it’s recommended to braid it or tie it in a low bun.
