Magical Mývatn Helicopter Expedition

The Mývatn lake area has been a filming location for major Hollywood films and TV shows, such as Game of Thrones, Fast & Furious and Star Wars. This is a breathtaking natural spectacle that everyone must see with their own eyes. The tour will also take you through the Golden Circle and on to the famous Askja caldera at the northern edge of Vatnajökull. You will have 3 landings during this expedition. 

Highlights: Holuhraun volcano, Askja caldera, Vatnajökull glacier, Kerlingafjöll mountains, Akureyri city, lake Mývatn. 

Departure: daily (October-March). Includes: local pilot guide, helicopter flight, lunch. 

Cancellation policy: Less than 2 weeks and more than 72 hours – 10%. Less than 72 hours and more than 24 hours – 50%. Less than 24 hours – 100%. Bookings are not accepted 48 hours prior to the desired date.
