This private tour is a pleasant way to spend your time. It includes transportation from Salzburg to a sightseeing stop in Mondsee, St.Gilgen, and back.

1 to 3 people, we will provide a sedan or combi.
4 people, we will provide an MPV.
5 to 7/8 people, we will provide a VAN.

Ablauf

This town has become a popular wedding destination. The Basilica of Saint Michael receives over 400 weddings throughout the year. This Basilica is famous because it’s where the wedding of Maria and Captain Von Trapp took place in the world-famous musical The Sound of Music. But This church has a richer history, since it began as the Mondsee Monastery, then it was destroyed in the year 748 and rebuilt over the centuries. The stop is for 3 hours. The rest of the time is for transportation.

The cable car to the top of mount Zwölferhorn is the highlight of St Gilgen. Enjoy the ride up to 1,522 meters above sea level to get to the top of the mountain and enjoy not only the view of Sankt Gilgen and lake Wolfgang, but also the Lake District into upper Austria, and the Dachstein mountain range near Hallstatt. The cable car ticket is not included in the price. The stop is for 3 hours. The rest of the time is for transportation.
