Aranjuez - Toledo

The next stop is at the Museum of Royal Falúas, here are shown the boats that the Kings used to navigate the Tagus river, especially two, the Felipe V gondola and the Carlos IV façade, in the museum you can also enjoy of utensils for the navigation of the time and paintings of the Spanish square. You will take a space for lunch and follow the path to Toledo.

In Toledo we arrive at Zocodover Square, we will walk the streets to the town hall square, there we can visit the spectacular Toledo Cathedral and the old Justice Palace. We follow the route through Toledo through the maze that forms with the small streets of the Arab and Jewish neighborhoods. We will get a feeling of transfer to many previous centuries, knowing the stories and legends of the time where Toledo was known as the “City of the Three Cultures ”as proof of this is the unique Church of San Salvador, an old mosque built on Visigoth remains.

We continue until we reach the Church of Santo Tomé, there we will admire the impressive painting of the “Burial of the Count of Orgaz” painted by the famous painter El Greco. Then we will visit the Convent of Santo Domingo el Antiguo, where the painter is buried.

Finally, a Damasquinado factory will be visited, where the traditional Toledo art will be observed, consisting of the embedding of precious metals in steel. End of the trajectory return to Madrid.
