The San Marino Protocol

The afternoon in San Marino you will still be quoting next month. You land on a team name you will still be using years from now. Then the city turns into a case and you are away. What happens over the next 2.5 hours is hard to summarise without ruining it, so we will not try. The shape of it is this: four stops across San Marino, one genuinely clever moment that makes everyone go quiet, a hunch that turns out to be exactly right, and a photo nobody will ever be allowed to delete. Someone will announce a theory with enormous confidence and be completely wrong. Someone else will see what the rest of you missed. And at least one mission will produce a verdict about somebody that follows them home. None of it requires experience. You turn up, you join in, and somewhere between the first stop and the last you start to feel like you have been doing this for years. The quest ends. The group chat does not. Know before you go • It is outdoors, takes about 2.5 hours and has four stops. The route is built to be walked, and a bus or taxi between stops is fine if you prefer. • Play solo or in a team of 2 to 6. Groups larger than 6 are welcome and are split into several teams. • Only the meeting point is shared in advance. The rest is revealed as you play. • Keep an eye on traffic, weather, opening hours and what is around you. • Open matchmaking departures run Sundays at 3:00 PM in the destination’s local time, so everyone who wants a team is pooled onto the same departure. Booking privately? Start any day, at any half hour from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM. • Plans change: cancel any time up to 45 minutes after your departure and choose a credit for the full amount you paid (valid 12 months on any quest), a free reschedule, or a refund of your full payment minus the non-refundable payment processing fee. • After the quest has loaded, temporary connection loss is supported and queued activity can synchronize when connectivity returns. • No paid attraction admission is required to complete the standard quest. • Still the only player one hour before an open departure?
