On this tour, you will get the best of Armenia and visit its remarkable sights, learning about the production of local wine, discovering the unique architecture of Tatev Monastery and admiring Shaki Waterfall. You will arrive at Hin Areni wine factory in Areni settlement and have a tour, tasting of its famous wines. It is well-known for its historic traditions of winemaking, as well as the modern production process that gives the winery the capacity to process over 250 tonnes of grapes. Then, you will visit Shaki waterfall that is located in one of the coziest and nicest corners of Syunik province in the southern part of Armenia. As the waterfall will gloriously open its striking beauty to you, you will listen to the inspiring melody of water and feel the scent of mountains.

You will get to Devil's Bridge, also known as Satani Kamurj, a natural bridge formed from travertine. Located on the Vorotan River in Syunik region, it has a length of approximately 30 meters and a width of 50-60 meters. You will observe a number of mountain springs around the bridge, the waters of which have colored the walls of the canyon in pink, yellow and green. You will also learn about various theories regarding the origin of the name "Devil's Bridge". For instance, some think that the locals came up with this name due to the fact that less water flows in under the bridge then flows out. Your last stop will be at Tatev monastery that was once a spiritual center and had outstanding scientific and political significance. It used to be the wealthiest medieval monastery in Armenia, and, besides from being a religious center, Tatev was the important strategical center of Syunik kingdom. The monastery has secret passages and pathways in the territory of the fortress that lead to the canyon and used to serve as a link between the monastery and the external world in the old days.

You will observe the breathtaking natural surroundings and take a ride on the longest reversible aerial tramway that was built in only one section and holds the record for the longest non-stop double track cable car. Wings of Tatev, or Tatevi tever as locals call it, is 5.7 kilometer ropeway that was built only within 11 months and passes through a deep gorge of the River Vorotan and over hills, covered with lush forests. The tramway is supported by 3 towers between its 2 terminals. One terminal is on a hill, overlooking the village of Halidzor and the other is near Tatev Monastery. 2 cabins operate at once, traveling in opposite directions, and it takes only 11 minutes for the tramway cabin to take its 30 passengers from the village of Halidzor to the magnificent complex of Tatev.
