Rafting on the Tiber and Botanical Garden Visit
Come and discover Rome from a new perspective! Rafting on the Tiber will give you a unique holiday in the historic center, combining the city's wonders with an adrenaline-pumping outdoor sport. Finish your walk by enjoying the magnificent Gianicolo Park and the Botanical Garden!
Meet at Porta del Popolo, where one of our qualified guides will take you on a journey on the Tiber river. Admire the majestic grandeur of Castel Sant'Angelo, the Vatican with the Dome, and the famous Piazza Trilussa, which is considered the center of the Trastevere nightlife! Pass under the most famous Roman bridges, including Vittorio Emanuele II, Sant'Angelo, and Garibaldi. Take your camera and get ready to take some stunning photos of the Gianicolo terrace! In the last part of the route, we will sail to Tiber Island, the smallest island in the world to be inhabited, and then pass the last remaining arch of Ponte Rotto (Broken Bridge). In the afternoon, we will visit Gianicolo Park and the Botanical Garden of La Sapienza University, where you will have a chance to witness one of the best Roman views.
Participants will receive the necessary equipment (paddle, life jacket, helmet) and will have a course on river safety.
