Montenegro Canyon tour will provide you an amazing experience throught the drive along the whole country in only one day, you will be in opportunity to see the best of the wild beauty. We visit two canyons, the Moraca Monastery, the remarkable Tara Bridge and two national parks (Biogradska Gora and Durmitor). First stop is at Moraca Monastery, with its natural surrounding and with a church dedicated to Our Lady. Around the church, there are rooms where monks are situated . Second, Biogradska Gora National Park with its brooks and coves, the Biogradsko Lake, its thousand years old woods and lawns, with the magnificence of natural beauty. Next is Tara Canyon – the deepest canyon in Europe and Tara river “the tear of Europe”, thus nicknamed for its clear water. The second deepest canyon in the world (after the Colorado canyon) is one of the 25 most significant sites in the world. Further, you will enjoy more of pure, intact nature and visit the pearl of Tara, the masterpiece of architecture – the Tara Bridge. And finaly through the larch forest the round will take you to Durmitor National Park and the Black Lake.
Itinerario
Departure is at 6.00 am from the main bus station in Tivat or other arranged place.. Driving from Tivat trough Budva we are heading to Cetinje. Before reaching Cetinje, we will have our first photo break at Brajici location, for you to take photos of our beautiful bay. In Cetinje, we will have a 30-minute-long break for breakfast.
After passing the capital of the country – Podgorica we will stop at Moraca Canyon and Moraca Monastery. There will be enough photo breaks to capture all the beauty of the place. Arrival at the Monastery is planned at 09:45 am, with a 45 minutes break.
Our next stop will be Biogradska Gora National Park and the Biogradsko Lake. We will be there at 11:30am and you will have 30 minutes at your disposal.
Then we are heading to our beautiful Tara Canyon and Tara Bridge, where we will have another photo break. The arrival is planned around 1:30pm, and you will have 1 hour and 30 minutes to visit the bridge and to have lunch (upon your internal agreement)
Around 3:30pm, we reach the other National Park – Durmitor and the Black Lake. There we will one hour having a relaxing walk along the lake.
The return is via Savnik, Niksic and Risan, again with numerous photo breaks, at most beautiful viewpoints of Boka bay.
Return is planned around 8 pm
