Hacienda Baru is a private project of conservation located near Dominical. Monkeys, sloths, crabs, birds, great curassow, peccaries and much more to be seen in here.

Our Certified naturalist guides wild do their best to find the wildlife and share with you their passion for nature. We will explain the ecosystem interactions, and the importance of the symbiotic relations, and how everything is connected.

A plus to this activity is our short stop at Portalon Waterfall, this is no the most impressive but very refreshing  river pools.

Itinerario

08:30 am pick up in Manuel Antonio National Park

09:15 am arrival to Hacienda Baru Nature Preserve

2 hours tours approximately

11:25 am departure from Hacienda Baru Nature Preserve

11:40 am arrival to Portalon Waterfall (small but nice waterfall and river pools)

12:10 pm departure from Portalon Waterfall

12:30 pm Costa Rican Lunch on the way back to Manuel Antonio

01:30 pm approximately arrival back to your accommodation in Manuel Antonio

Notes: This itinerary timing might be affected depending on the amount of participants, how long you might want to spent in the waterfall and traffic conditions.
