Nerja Caves are the world's largest and best prehistoric caves, containing artifacts, paintings, and skeletons dating back 25,000 years. The caves, spread over 5 kilometers, are a series of underground caverns with the largest stalagmite in the world, a 32-meter-high column. The caves are not open to the public but but you can take a tour through the caverns, the best and largest prehistoric caves in the world.

Frigiliana, located on the Sierra Almijara slopes, offers stunning views of the Costa del Sol. The village's whitewashed houses and picturesque narrow streets transport you to a Middle Ages era. The locals maintain the village's beauty, with well-maintained facades and a variety of shops, tapas, bars, and restaurants. The village also features twelve ceramic plaques representing the Moorish uprising and the last battles in the area.
