DAY 1: Imlil 1780 m-Tizi n’Mzik 2489 m -Ait Aissa 1860m
Early departure from Marrakech. On arrival in Imlil, you will meet your guide and muleteer. Once you have loaded up your bags, the mule and cook set off together, taking a head-start to pick a perfect picnic spot and start cooking your lunch. You will also start on your trek, heading in a westerly direction towards the Tizi h’Mzik mountain pass (2,489 m). After a steady climb, you will be rewarded with beautiful views of the Imlil valley (behind you) and the Azzadene Valley (to the front). From the pass you will traverse towards the head of the Azzadene Valley and the lovely D’Irhoulidene waterfalls which flow year-round. You’ll then head down to the Berber village of Ait Aissa. On your descent, keep an eye out for the mountain goats who daringly climb up the Juniper trees to reach the berries! Approx. 5-6 hours walking (649 m ascent & 779 m descent). Overnight: Azzaden Trekking Lodge 1 night in a standard room with ensuite facilities. Includes lunch and dinner.
DAY 2: Ait Aissa 1860 m - Marigha 1100 m
After an early breakfast you’ll trek down the valley following the course of the Azzadene River passing several traditional picturesque Berber Villages. As you descend the valley, you will find yourself in Mediterranean-esque scenery; surrounded by Juniper trees, low shrubs and wild rosemary and thyme. Passing through the villages of Tiziane and Azerfsane, you'll stop for a picnic lunch by the riverside. Afterwards you’ll continue down the valley to your hotel in the Ouirgane Valley. Approx. 5-6 hours walking (760 m descent). Includes breakfast and dinner.

Duration: 2 days and 1 nights. Departure: daily. Includes: guide, cook, mules to carry your kit bags, transfer from and to Marrakech, accommodation according to the program, meals according to the program, mineral water, sleeping bags, luggage carriage. Minimum 2 people.
Payment policy: A 25% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking. A further 25% at least one month before arrival. The remaining 50% to be paid in cash on arrival in Morocco.
Cancellation policy: If you need to cancel or reschedule your trek or tour with us, please advise at least 6 weeks in advance of the date of your tour. However, we cannot guarantee the same hotels will have vacancies at a later date, and you may lose your deposit for reserved accommodations.
