Leave the buzz and bustle of Rome behind and spend the day in Tuscany! Experience Italy's beauty and cuisine on this customized trip. We will visit the old part of Montalcino, where small cobblestone streets lead to hundreds of vineyards and shops run by local artists. And, of course, wine is a requirement here! Montepulciano was built around 1500 on a narrow ridge of limestone. It is known worldwide for its beautiful Renaissance palaces and the Vino Nobile, one of the best wines from Tuscany.
We will also get to see the San Salvatore Duomo (cathedral), a 14th-century church renovated in the 19th century with a Neoclassical façade. After that, we'll go to the Piazza della Principessa Margherita, where the town hall, Palazzo dei Priori or Palazzo Comunale, which has a tall medieval tower, is located.
The town of Montepulciano is another lovely example of a medieval settlement on the crest of the Siena hills, and it is especially famous for its wine, Nobile di Montepulciano. We will see the old walls that once kept the people safe from troops from Florence. We will also see the historical center, which grows through small streets.
The gorgeous shots from Tuscany that you can find on Google Images are from this location. Therefore it will be simple to capture some adorable photos. Shops, restaurants, cafè, and vineyards will bring you to the summit of the hamlet, where you can enjoy lovely squares, cathedrals, and incredible panoramic views. You may also sample a variety of wines from the area's vineyards!
