07:30 - Pickup from your hotel and departure destination champagne region. The guide will give you general information about the French history and modern day life. There are approximately 140 km to drive on a highway. One stop at a rest area will be made. The ride takes about 2 hours and one part of it goes through picturesque landscapes with vineyards.

09:30 - Walking tour Hautvillers.

Guided walking tour in Hautvillers village with the visit of the Abbey Church of St Peter Hautvillers (Abbaye Saint-Pierre d'Hautvillers). It is a former Benedictine monastery. The Abbey was founded in 665 and remained active till the French Revolution 1789. Dom Perignon has developed the wine making methods in the region of Champagne. Nowadays there are 26 local Champagne producers in the village.

10:45 - Departure to Epernay. It takes just 15 minutes.

11:00 - Arrival in Epernay. Champagne degustation in Épernay.

12:30 - 14:00 : Lunch time in Épernay. Épernay is known as the Champagne Capital of France. Located along the Marne surrounded by the wine hills it is Home of many region’s most prestigious champagne houses. Épernay is a must for wine and champagne lovers. Walk the Avenue of Champagne attracts many tourists.

14:00 - Departure to the local Champagne producer located in the middle of the vineyards with breathtaking views.

14:15- Visit of medium-sized Champagne producer. We will enjoy not only guided Champagne tastings but also the explanations about how the champagne is being made with the Champagne degustation of 3 glass of Champagnes. The vinery is surrounded by vineyards and you'll enjoy as well the exceptional panoramic views.

15:45 - Departure to the Castle for the next Champagne tastings.

16:00 - Champagne tasting in Chateau. We will visit one of the Champagne region’s smaller wineries with the option of walking in the gardens of the Castle. Champagne degustation of 3 Champagnes with explanations.
