Visit the wonderful villa in Tivoli, a splendid imperial residence built by Emperor Hadrian from 118 to 128 AD. The estate covers more than 130 hectares and is thought to be Italy's largest and most luxurious home ever built. The architecture was inspired by the beauties scattered throughout the Empire, and the most famous places in the provinces of the Empire were reproduced with their names. With our guide, we will visit this collection of imperial palaces, temples, theaters, spas, and swimming pools, learning the story and the personalities of those times.

Then we will have some time for lunch, and after restoring our energy, we will transfer to Villa D’Este, a masterpiece of the Renaissance. It was built by the will of Cardinal Ippolito d’Este, the governor of Tivoli. The work was delegated to the architect Pirro Ligorio and the best artists of the time, including Gian Lorenzo Bernini. The best artists turned water areas into genuine art and created impeccable fountains and gardens of unique beauty. We will visit the apartments, the Vialone gardens, the Grand Loggia, Diana’s Cave, the Rotonda dei Cipressi, the Fishponds, and the numerous monumental fountains. And after this spectacular journey, we will return to Rome. You can choose the tour with transfer or reach Tivoli by car or train.
