Vysehrad Castle was the location of the very earliest human settlement in Prague and the origin of the legend of Princess Libuse. The Vysehrad castle was constructed in the 10th century and is located on a hill with a charming view of Prague and the Vltava River. The Church of Saints Paul and Peter, which can be found inside the Prague Castle complex, is the oldest tower in Prague. Many notable figures from Czech history are buried in the Vysehrad cemetery and St. Martin's Rotunda, both of which are located in the city of Prague.
