Next, you will see the alley of the Armenian alphabet, which is one of the unique places of interest in Armenia. You will see the giant 39 letters from above, strategically placed near the final resting place ofMesrop Mashtots, who created the Armenian alphabet. The letters were built in 2005 to celebrate the 1600th birthday of the Armenian alphabet.
If the weather is clear, you will also see the highest peak of Armenia - Aragats mount which is 4090m high. On the southern slopes of Mount Aragats you will admire the largest standing fortress in Armenia - Amberd, which is one of the best examples of Armenian fortress construction. The site incorporates a rich variety of buildings including: a church, a chapel, baths, walls and several gates.
