Please note: the length of the trip and the time it leaves depend on how the guest interacts with the ranger and how many animals they see. The private game reserve is about 2.5 hours from Cape Town. It is in the malaria-free Ceres Karoo. Don’t hesitate to submit a transfer request to us.

The Tankwa Chalets can accommodate up to two people per room, and options are available for couples. The rooms have a romantic charm with wood-burning fireplaces, air-conditioning, and bathrobes.

Children's policy: please remember that children under four are not authorized on game drives. Private safaris can be booked ahead of time so that children under the age of four can go on a wildlife drive with their parents while being closely watched.

There will be limited Inverdoorn housing available for small family stays. Please confirm any family requirements with your safari advisor when booking. Subject to hotel availability, one kid between the ages of 4 and 12 may share with two adults at half the adult cost.

Inverdoorn is a small lodge. Thus, all youngsters must always be under their parents' direct supervision. As a parent, guardian, or chaperone, you are personally and legally responsible for and must keep an eye on children at all times. Please do not leave children unaccompanied in guest rooms or allow them to roam the hotel grounds unsupervised.

The Tankwa Chalets can sleep up to two people per room and provide couples or singles-sharing alternatives. Private verandas overlook the gorgeous cactus garden from each chalet.

The rooms have a romantic feel to them, with wood-burning fireplaces, air conditioning, and bathrobes provided. All chalets include minibar refrigerators. A price list is available for each room, and the self-service free beverage station has an espresso coffee maker and other items.
