( Pass by )Gwanghwamun Spuare. Gwanghwamun Square is a historic landmark located in the heart of Seoul, known for its iconic statues and significance as the gateway to Korea's cultural heritage. Standing directly in front of Gyeongbokgung Palace, this vibrant plaza is a space where 600 years of history coexists with modern culture. Notably, in March 2026, the square became the global stage for the BTS comeback performance, uniting over 40,000 passionate fans (ARMY) from around the world. As depicted in the image, the square serves as a dramatic setting where historical statues, such as Admiral Yi Sun-sin, bear witness to dynamic global cultural events.
Jogyesa Temple. Hidden in the heart of bustling downtown Seoul, Jogyesa Temple offers a rare glimpse into Korea’s living Buddhist tradition. Founded in 1935, this tranquil sanctuary contrasts strikingly with the city around it. Step through the symbolic Iljumun Gate into a world of peace, where centuries-old pine and locust trees shade the magnificent Daeungjeon Hall. Inside, golden Buddha statues shine softly in the light, inviting visitors to pause, reflect, and experience a moment of serenity.
Gyeongbokgung Palace. Your journey begins at Gwanghwamun Gate, where the colorful Royal Guard Changing Ceremony brings the 600-year traditions of the Joseon Dynasty to life. Step inside Gyeongbokgung Palace, the grandest and most beautiful of Korea’s royal palaces, to wander through sweeping courtyards and imagine the regal lives of kings and queens. Highlights include Geunjeongjeon Hall, the heart of state affairs, and the serene Gyeonghoeru Pavilion, once a venue for royal banquets. Beyond its historical significance, Gyeongbokgung has gained global fame as a prime filming location for BTS music videos. Most notably, the March 2026 comeback performance showcased the palace’s architectural splendor to millions of viewers worldwide. As you explore these ornate halls, you are not just walking through history—you are standing on the very stage where global icons celebrated Korea's heritage, bridging the gap between the majestic past and a dynamic present. It’s a fascinating way to experience Korea’s cultural heritage and see how tradition shaped the modern nation.
(Pass by ) The Presidential House. Have you heard about the Blue House? This is the Korean Presidential House. Did you know?
