Travelers will enjoy a private day trip from Marrakech to Essaouira, a charming coastal town located approximately 2.5 hours away. Along the way, there may be a stop at a traditional argan oil cooperative to learn about Morocco’s famous argan oil production. Upon arrival, travelers can explore Essaouira’s historic medina, lively fishing port, old ramparts, seaside squares, artisan shops, and beautiful sandy beach. Known for its relaxed atmosphere, fresh ocean breeze, blue-and-white streets, seafood restaurants, and Atlantic views, Essaouira offers the perfect escape from the busy rhythm of Marrakech before returning in the afternoon.

The first pause will take place in the SED EL MOKHTAR’s village to take rest. The second pause will be in the forest of Argan oil. Where you can discover famale co-opertavies of argan oil. And learn how they made it. Essaouira is a coastal town (approx 2,5 h driving from Marrakech). It provids an excellent opportunity to relax on the beach. The Medina of Essaouira combines history, culture with modern cafes and restaurants. Essaouira has a long promenade with a large, sandy beach. It is safe to swim here. It’s a perfect opportunity to get away from the city rush, and enjoy the cooler climate of the coastal town of Essaouira. Essaouira is an exceptional example of late-18th century fortified town. It is built according to the principles of contemporary European military architecture in a north African context. We get back to Marrakech at ~ 18:30 hrs. On the way to Essaouira there is an opportunity to stop for a visit in Argan Oil (Women Cooperative).
