Vatican Museums. You will enter the Vatican Museums overflowing with masterpieces by many of Italy’s most important Italian artists and many important works from Ancient Greece, Rome and Egypt. You will visit the impressive Raphael Rooms that served as papal apartments for several years. You will walk through famous galleries such as the tapestries and maps ones. You will learn the secrets of The Sistine Chapel, with its enormous Michelangelo’s frescoes. Here you will have time to observe the details of his sublime “Last Judgment”.

Here, you will have time to observe the details of his sublime "Last Judgment" that your guides explained before entering and the majestic ceiling of the Chaple with Adamo's creation at its center. Inside the Chapel, only contemplation is allowed, not talking.

Your guide will explain all the features of the Sistine Chapel during the Vatican Museums tour. You can take pictures (no flash) everywhere except inside the Sistine Chapel. Cover knees and shoulders before entering the Sistine Chapel. If you haven't done it, please share a mobile number you will use in Italy, possibly with a WhatsApp connection. We will share the name and number of your private guide for last-minute needs. Nevertheless, the guide will be at the meeting at Viale Vaticano 100, in front of Caffè Vaticano, at 3:50 pm, holding a sign with your name. IMPORTANT: being on time is warmly recommended. The museum's attendants start closing the Sistine Chapel at 6:30 pm to allow everyone to be out at 8:00 pm.
