The famous and infamous Red Light District of Amsterdam! The beating heart of tourism in this old-world city. This is where Amsterdam once started and you can see that in the beautiful architecture and the houses that sometimes go back to the 11th century! On this route, the people of Amsterdam and the reportage style are central. In the narrow alleys of the Red Light District, you will encounter typical Amsterdam scenes and boats sail on the canals and swans swim. A 10-minute walk from Felix Meritis, you can see Amsterdam in all its glory.

Itinerario

Dam Square Amsterdam. Your Citywalk starts with a presentation by Jeroen Swolfs and an explanation of the Citywalks App.

St Jansbrug Amsterdam. Take a picture of this great bridge with the many canal houses.

Government of Amsterdam. In the middle of the Red light district, you find this amazing street. See all the people walking and enjoying this part of Amsterdam.

Oude kerk Amsterdam. This 700 hundred-year-old church is one of the oldest in Amsterdam. This church is right in the middle of the Red light district. This is an external visit only

Rokin Amsterdam. A small detour from the Red light district. But you don't want to miss this great place to take your picture. This is an external visit only

Vredenburgersteeg Amsterdam. A hidden place in the Red light district. This is also one of the most beautiful spots where you can take a great pictures. This is an external visit only

Oudezijds Kolk Amsterdam. One of the most famous streets of the Red light district. A very busy street with all kind of people that visit this street. This is an external visit only

Government Amsterdam. Very quiet place where not so many tourist. Here you will find many houseboats.

Staalmeesterbrug Amsterdam. A great drawbridge to take a photo of. A typical Amsterdam scenery.

Oudemanhuispoort Amsterdam. A hidden gate in the Red light district. A special, a little dark, place what is part of the university of Amsterdam.
