Descrizione completa

Cozumel may be famous for its beaches, but some of the island’s best discoveries are served at the table. Your route begins inside the Municipal Market, a place that has been part of the city’s daily rhythm for generations.

Among colorful produce, fragrant spices, and vendors greeting familiar faces, discover how food fits into everyday island life before choosing two tacos from market favorites such as carnitas, al pastor, or chorizo.

From the market, continue to two local spots, each with its own specialty. Bite into crispy shrimp tacos with a Caribbean accent, then slow things down with tender barbacoa and warm consomé.

Across three local stops, six tacos take you from market classics to Caribbean seafood and slow-cooked comfort food, with different flavors, textures, and traditions in every round. Finish with a cold beer and a better answer to one of Mexico’s most important questions: which taco was your favorite?

Itinerario

Kick off your adventure at the lively Municipality Market, a vibrant hub full of tradition and local charm. Stroll through the market, chat with friendly vendors, and choose two tacos from a selection of mouthwatering options like carnitas, al pastor, or chorizo. Each bite promises an unforgettable experience of rich, authentic Mexican cuisine.

Next, we’ll stop at a local favorite renowned for its crispy, breaded shrimp tacos. Savor the perfect crunch of golden shrimp, topped with fresh ingredients and a zesty sauce. Enjoy two of these mouthwatering tacos, a true taste of Caribbean Mexican flavors.

End your taco tour at a local favorite known for its irresistible barbacoa tacos. Relish the tender, slow-cooked meat in soft tortillas, topped with traditional garnishes. Enjoy two flavorful tacos paired with a savory consomé that brings out the richness of the barbacoa. And to finish, refresh with a cold beer, the perfect complement to your culinary experience.
