No eruption has been recorded on the Reykjanes Peninsula in 800 years, so this is a fantastic and rare event worth seeing!
Our driver (guide) will pick you up at your hotel and drive you to the erupting area as close as possible to the volcano. You can watch the eruption for about an hour and then return to Reykjavik (snacks are offered).
