Makoa Farm Walking Tour

Makoa Farm in the Kilimanjaro foothills is a wildlife rescue center where visitors can interact with a wide variety of animals such as primates, birds, and more! Makoa Farm is the only wildlife rescue center in Tanzania. The organization is taking care of the injured and orphaned animals that would otherwise have no chance of survival in the wild. The mission of the rehabilitation center is to provide treatment to the animals that came in the way of harm and release them back into their natural habitat if possible. You will see a variety of wild animals such as a cheetah, monkeys, zebras and elephants, marabous, and many others, and each animal has its own story. The farm is a self-funded institution, strongly dependent on the sold entry tickets and donations. Your visit there will make a contribution to the survival of its residents.
