The old city is the ancient part of Tashkent. Here you can still find residential buildings built in the late XIX century. This is the historical North-Western part of Tashkent, where the city was located before the formation of the Turkestan General Governorate (1865).

The Khast-Imam Complex (XVI-XXI centuries) - This is where the famous Koran of Caliph Osman (VII century) is kept. In Khast-Imam you will visit the Barak-khan Madrasah, the Tillya-Sheikh Mosque, the Kaffal Shashi Mausoleum and the Islamic Institute named after Imam al-Bukhari.

"Chorsu" is one of the oldest bazaars in the city. Tashkent bazaar Chorsu, which is several hundred years old, has always been located on the main square of the city of Eski-Juva.

Visiting the ceramic workshop of Akbar and Alisher Rakhimov is a unique place, a paradise in the old part of Tashkent, there is a completely different approach to the process, to the products and to the aesthetic design. There are no clichés and standard ceramics, here each piala and plate is a work of art, and a house with a beautiful garden adds a special oriental flavor and charm to the workshop.
