Embark on a captivating journey from Malaga city to the heart of the province, delving into the natural wonders of the Guadalhorce Valley. Our group tour takes you to the recently reconstructed Caminito del Rey, tracing the original pathways built between 1860 and 1866. Explore the breathtaking Gaitanes Gorge, a canyon sculpted by the Guadalhorce River.

Enjoy free time at the end of the trip to savor the surroundings, take photos, or simply soak in the serenity of this remarkable location.

After a day of exploration, return to Malaga, concluding this enriching journey through the natural wonders of the province.

Group tour in Caminito del Rey - Itinerary

Your driver will pick you up at the set time and place.

You will then head towards Ardales. You will start hiking by “Mirador” restaurant located near the entrance of the Caminito del Rey. After a while the gate of Caminito del Rey will be reached. The guide will explain you the relevance of this area in the Spanish contemporary history due tu different components: the electric power house, the railway, the recevoir, etc.

Later continue the walkway passing by “Gaitanejos” cliffs, the “Hoyo” valley, “Gaitanes” cliffs , Ribera bridge & finally by the hanging bridge.

At the end of this hiking trail you will be transferred back to the start point.

A mínimum of a group of 4 persons is required Please respect the indicated collection point. The Pick-up time can vary + - 10 minutes. Please be 30 minutes before to departure time to avoid any inconvenience. The order of the visits can be altered, depending on several factors: (Traffic, time of entrance to monuments, time of visits, coordination of the guide, etc.) This activity is not wheelchair accesible and neither walking sticks are allowed. This activity operates in good weather conditions. Please check with the company the forecast as the date gets closer. In the case of mild rain, the tour will run as usual, so please bring a suitable rain gear. In summertime it can get very hot so don’t forget your sunglasses, sun-tan lotion and a bottle of cold water. Please wear comfortable shoes. Trekking or sport shoes and sport clothes are required. Passport or ID identification card for children to check that they are over 8 years old.
