The Menin Gate Memorial to the Missing is a war memorial in Ypres, Belgium, dedicated to the British and Commonwealth soldiers who were killed in the Ypres Salient of World War I and whose graves are unknown.

The Last Post Ceremony, Ieper — Ypres, Menin Gate. Every night at 8.00pm (20:00 hours) a moving ceremony takes place under the Menin Gate in Ieper - Ypres

Ypres is a lovely place to visit, wonderfully restored from the destruction of WW1. The square is simply lovely though a little full of tourists

The ramparts, of which there are several surrounding the old downtown of Ypres, form part of a walking trail around the city

This memorial is right around the corner from In Flanders Fields Museum. The detail in the sculpture is amazing
