Volledige beschrijving

A Pub Trail is a scavenger hunt through Alkmaar, combined with short pub games in cafés that you choose yourselves. For friends, colleagues and families who want to explore the city without feeling like tourists.

You walk together through the city, complete challenges, and play games in the cafés. The group stays together, and the player with the most points wins a prize. Pub Trail Alkmaar is an activity, not a traditional pub crawl.

You choose the cafés yourselves: no fixed bars, no set routes. This gives you the freedom to choose the cafés you want to visit.

Pub Trail Alkmaar is an active and playful experience, much more fun than a standard walking tour.

Route

On the corner of Bierkade and the Verdronkenoord canal you will find the Accijnstoren of Alkmaar. This building was built on this site in 1622.

In the center of Alkmaar you will find the Gedempte Nieuwesloot in the courtyard of the Hof van Sonoy.

The Huis met de Kogel is a nationally listed building in the center of the North Holland town of Alkmaar.

The fish banks were built in the 16th century and converted into the current fish banks in 1755. These were used until 1998 when the fish market stopped.

The Grote Sint-Laurenskerk is a church building in Alkmaar. It is a stone-clad brick cross basilica with a seven-sided choir closure.

The Alkmaar town hall consists of several buildings of different ages, grouped around a central courtyard.
