A guided ascent of Mount Toubkal in 2 days trekking where you will exceed your limits, facing breathtaking landscapes.
Day 1: Marrakech – Imlil (1700m) – Toubkal Refuge (3200m)After an early breakfast we leave for 1-hour drive to the small village of Imlil. We meet our guides and mules, load up and set off for the six hour trek to the small refuge below the summit. The tracks are quite steep and narrow in places. We continue climbing through remote mountains and over several passes before finally arriving at the refuge where we spend the night.
Day 2: Toubkal Refuge – Toubkal ascension (4167m) – Imlil – MarrakechClimbing the highest peak in the Maghreb is done without major difficulties. A rocky path up near the camp in a landslide in a valley and then collected more encumbered with large blocks. The final peak is broad and goes down gradually when approaching to the summit, however high cliffs plunging into the opposite of the Ifni Lake .On arriving in the village we will meet our transport and return to Marrakech.
Day 1: Marrakech – Imlil (1700m) – Toubkal Refuge (3200m). After an early breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Marrakech and driven for about one hour to the mountain village of Imlil. Here you meet your local guides and mule team before beginning a six‑hour trek through steep and narrow paths, crossing remote valleys and mountain passes. The climb gradually takes you higher into the rugged High Atlas until you reach the Toubkal Refuge at 3200m, where dinner and overnight accommodation await.
Day 2: Toubkal Refuge – Toubkal Summit (4167m) – Imlil – Marrakech. The second day begins with an early departure to ascend Djbel Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa. The climb follows rocky trails and ridges, with breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains and the shimmering Ifni Lake below. After reaching the summit at 4167m and enjoying the panoramic vistas, you descend back to the refuge and continue down to Imlil village. Your transport will be waiting to take you back to Marrakech, completing this unforgettable two‑day adventure.
