Auvers-sur-Oise is the last refuge of a great artist. Vincent Van Gogh spent just 70 days in this wonderful corner of France. In a such short period of time he created his best 80 works of art. As Vincent mentioned - one of my most deliberate canvases- is  Daubigny's Garden. As well - "The church at Auvers, L'Oise ets... The atmosphere of the town, designed to improve the health of the artist, prompted him to create vivid paintings.  Once in Auvers you will understand why the paintings of this period are painted with such rich colors.
