Plan

The Sanctuary of Fatima is a gigantic plaza and a must visit for any Catholic. The place has become an immense sanctuary and one of Christianity’s most important pilgrimage sites, especially for its impressive size. At each end of the square are Fátima's two basilicas, and there’s a large modern crucifix. The stop is for 2 hours. The rest of the time is for transportation.

Enjoy the city by passing through the Porta da Vila and see the townscape that could be a movie set. Walk around the Rua Direita to see houses with whitewashed walls trimmed with blue or yellow borders and with bougainvillea creeping up the sides. The stop is for 2 hours.
