With its sumptuous architecture, the former railway terminus will astonish you by its outdoor and its history. Of 600 meters long, it was one of the most important railway stations in Berlin. During World War II, it was used for the deportation of 55,000 Jews in concentration camps.
It is a protestant church built in the 1890s. Damaged during the bombing of Berlin, it has been rebuilt to become a monument of today. Affectionately named the hollow tooth, the old damaged spire has been retained, and the first floor of the church has been made into a memorial gallery.
