This is where the car meets the boat, and you embark, starting the cruise. We can add time for the Flåm railway here, if you would like to do that as a roundtrip, before the cruise. We can also have lunch at Fretheim Hotel here, instead of onboard the boat.

We cruise into the Nærøyfjord at slow and relaxing speed The Nærøyfjord is a branch of the Aurlandsfjord, itself a branch of the Sognefjord. The fjord is about 17 km long, and at its narrowest point it is about 250 m wide. Nærøyfjorden and Geirangerfjorden are Norway's only fjords that are included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The beautiful natural and cultural landscape along the fjord is unique, and the fjords in Norway are perhaps Scandinavia`s biggest tourist attraction. In our boat, you will explore it in a relaxed and private manner. The fjord is surrounded by steep mountains that rise to about 1,761 m (5,778 ft) above sea level. Nærøyfjord is one of the narrowest arms of the Sognefjord system. The steep valley sides rise almost directly from the water and are cut by waterfalls and hanging valleys, features that contribute to the fjord's dramatic landscape.

This is the inner end of the Nærøyfjord. The car meet us again here, to go back to Bergen after a lovely cruise. Possible to visit the Viking Valley before returning
